Here is the background explaining the reason of this survey: As an air traffic controller student at skyguide in Switzerland, I have chosen Time Based Separation (TBS) as my thesis subject. I am aiming at reviewing the theoretical aspects of TBS as well as the implications for the air traffic controller, the pilot and the airline. This questionnaire aims at understanding the implication of this new type of approach from the controller point of view.
I have based the following questions on the feedbacks I have received from the pilots, therefore there are many open questions; thus none of them will be mandatory to answer and you will be able to submit your survey even if you choose not to answer every questions.
Once again, thank you very much for your help, it will be very valuable for writing my thesis. I am looking forward to reading your answers. I will collect the answers until the 25th of November and will treat them anonymously.
