How to get good answers

• Tell people it is coming and say who will read the answers. Staying quiet about that is what kills response rates.
• Send it once, from one place. Never from a manager to their own team.
• Anonymity is not a switch you turn on, it is how you collect. Do not report teams of under five people separately. People work out who said what and the next round comes back empty.
• Come back with something within two weeks. The second round depends entirely on what you did after the first.
