How to get good answers

  • The question about avoiding places is the one that finds the toilets. On paper the toilets are always fine.
  • Ask students and staff in the same survey with one flag to tell them apart. Two separate surveys make the comparison much harder.
  • Run it before the budget is decided. Asking afterwards just documents a decision people had no part in.
  • Publish the ranking and then follow it. A repair list that ignores the survey guarantees nobody answers the next one.
