Guest Registration to the 7th Solar Energy Forum "Innovations that cut cost in photovoltaics" on October 9th, 2019

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your visiting our event survey. By completing it beforeWed. October 2nd, 2019, you will help us gauge the interest inand likely attendance of the Solar Energy Forum.

Abstract:

Photovoltaics has shown a dramatic growth and cost reduction over the last decades reaching an annual installation of 100 GW and 20 c€ per Watt today. Being the cheapest energy sources, solar electricity generation has a central role in most energy transformation scenarios. Key innovations that enabled this success are presented in this talk. We will take a glance into a photovoltaic fabrication facility of the year 2000 and of today to underline significant improvements; and we will take a look into the future predicting what is coming next. With photovoltaics becoming cheaper than many other materials it becomes more and more attractive to integrate photovoltaics into existing structures inconspicuously producing electricity in addition to their original function. We will present innovative material systems that may surround us in the future.

After the talk we invite you all to have a snack and a drink with us in the lobby of building 101.

Science Market:

We have invited seveal regional players in the renewable energies to present themselves. You will find booths of: SolarSpring GmbH, FWTM/Green City, ISES/Young ISES, WeTell, Kiteswarms and NexWafe GmbH. We hope that you can make fruitfull contacts and enjoy rich discussions

A few words about the event:
