Should we turn a FLEX position into a SUPERFLEX position?

Superflex positions allow QB's to be started in them. By adding a superflex position QB's see an increased value since teams can start 2. This helps close the gap between QBs and RB/WRs. With 1QB only 12 start and the difference between them is minimal. With superflex, the difference between QB5 and QB20 can be large thus making the value of good QBs higher. Additionally, it would mean less WR and RB starting making more available throughout the league. We would not implement immediately and would vote on when to implement if passed.

Tight End Premium

Tight End Premium attempts to make TE's closer in value to WRs and RBs just like Superflex does. Tight End Premium makes it so that TE's get an extra 0.5 points per reception. Given that TE's regularly have lower stats than WR's and TE's they aren't nearly as viable. This helps make them more valuable and more end up getting rostered. This also helps improve depth of available WR's and RB's. If passed we will vote separately on when to implement

Salary Cap Restructure

This proposal is two parts, the first is to move the Salary Cap from $1,000 to $255 to reflect the current salary cap of the NFL ($255.4 Million). I would adjust all current salaries to be the same % of total cap so nothing would change except the ratios. Second, we would then begin to raise the salary cap every year with how the actual NFL salary cap moves so we will have increasing cap space over time. This adds an extra element of strategy, allows for more forgiving cap space mechanics and helps retain players you like longer by having the cap move up with player salaries. As always, we will vote on when to implement if this passes.

Extension Salary Computation Change

Currently we have it set so that for any additional extension year, cap hits increase by 10% just like players under contract. The proposal I'm putting forth is to start to utilize a new capability the League Tycoon app offers called "Computed Extension Salaries" Essentially, rather than getting to extend players for just +10%, players will be extended for a new salary based on the players performance and the salary distributions in our league. Each position's salary distribution is evaluated individually. See below for how Option A and Option B play out Example: I have Puka Nacua for $2 in 2024 on a 4 year contract. 2027 is his final year and he will cost $5: Option A, if I extend him for 2 years in 2027 his costs will be 2028 = $6 and 2029 = $7 Option B, if I extend him for 2 years in 2027 his costs will be calculated so that he will cost similar to other players performing like him at that time, likely to be MUCH higher than $6 and $7, something more like $100 - $120 assuming he keeps performing well. In my opinion, this makes hitting gold on cheap players slightly less OP and also makes rookies that have rookie contracts expiring get paid market value, just like teams would need to in real life. As with the others, if accepted we will vote on implementation dates.
