How does positive reinforcement affect children’s emotions and behaviours in KS1.

My name is Ella Roberts, and I am studying BA QTS at the University of Chester. As part of my studies, I am completing a small research study focusing on teachers’ perceptions on how positive reinforcement affects children’s emotions and behaviours in KS1. 


I will remain objective throughout the research, using non-leading questions to eliminate bias. 

 

In terms of confidentiality and anonymity, all participant responses will remain anonymous throughout the study. This will be ensured by removing names to protect the identity of all participants. Names of participants and settings will not be included in the research, if appropriate pseudonyms will be used. Any documents generated for the research will be securely stored on an electronic password-locked device. After the marking process of the study is completed, the documents will be securely destroyed. 

 

Participant involvement is voluntary. Should you not want to answer any of the questions, you do not have to. If you decide you no longer want to participate in the research, you have the right to withdraw at any stage.
