thank you for wanting to take part in this survey!

The purpose of it is to explore how players with different mother tongues use English as a common language in video games and related online communities. The survey is being conducted as part of my research project: "ELF in Gaming: Narrative Designs and Player Interactions".

The research focuses on in-game communication (single-player and multiplayer contexts) and interactions within community spaces (Forums, Discord, Twitch, YouTube etc.).

The survey itself will take about 5-10 minutes to complete. You will be asked about your gaming habits, your experiences with English in gaming contexts and your perspectives on communication with international players.

All responses will remain anonymous and will be used for academic research purposes only. No personal data will be shared.

Participation is completely voluntary and you can, of course, stop or skip any questions you do not wish to answer.

Your participation is greatly appreciated and will provide important insights for my research.
