5. Slovak Red Cross, Svidník Regional Branch
Long-standing humanitarian organization operating across four districts in northeastern Slovakia: Svidník, Stropkov, Bardejov, and Stará Ľubovňa. Throughout crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the branch was designated by the Red Cross headquarters as a key logistics hub for humanitarian aid distribution across the country.
- Thanks to support from the Agricultural Paying Agency (PPA), the organization recently completed the construction of a modern warehouse. However, to ensure full functionality and efficiency of this facility, they urgently need a forklift to handle logistics and aid distribution safely and effectively.
- Due to limited financial resources, the organization is seeking external support to purchase a forklift. This vital piece of equipment will enable them to maintain operational readiness for emergency responses, humanitarian aid, and daily logistics – continuing their mission to support people in need across Slovakia.
- Project cost: € 15,000 - 20,000.

6. Diversity PRO
is a non-governmental organization committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and visibility of the LGBTI+ community in the workplace across Slovakia. As a non-political initiative, the organization supports employers and employees in creating inclusive work environments where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, has equal opportunities.
- Their mission is to foster awareness and education around LGBTI+ inclusion through training, leadership development, and the sharing of best practices. A key pillar of their work is the LGBTI+ Business Forum, held annually since 2012 with the support of partners such as the Dutch Embassy. The forum addresses topics such as ESG reporting, equal benefits, diverse families, and inclusive leadership. Another successful initiative is the LGBTI+ Professionals Picnic, which provides a safe and informal networking space for professionals and allies.
- While Diversity PRO currently operates without an office and on a pro bono volunteer basis, they are seeking financial support to continue and expand their activities. A donation would help cover costs for the next Business Forum, community events, and regular networking opportunities—ensuring a sustainable and impactful platform for LGBTI+ inclusion in Slovakia’s professional landscape.
