Introduction: You are being invited to participate in a study that aims to evaluate a music visualizer created by the researcher. The purpose of this study is to gather feedback on the effectiveness of the music visualizer in regard to communicating the emotions of music. Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time.
Please note that for this study, it is important that you have sound available as the study is designed to evaluate audio-visual content.
Procedures: During the study, you will view video clips of the visualizer and rate it on how well it conveys the emotions. You will also rate the visualizer on how well it fits with the music. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Risks: This study is considered minimal risk, and there are no known risks associated with participating. However, if you have epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing lights or other triggers, you should avoid participating in this study as it may induce seizures. If you do experience any discomfort or distress during the study, you have the option to withdraw at any time.
Confidentiality: Your responses will be kept confidential, and no personally identifiable information will be collected. The results of the study may be published, but individual responses will not be identified.
Data: Please note that your responses will be stored securely and all data collected for this study will be deleted two weeks after the project is complete.
Voluntary participation: Your participation in this study is entirely voluntary, and you may choose to withdraw at any time without penalty. If you choose to withdraw, your data will be deleted.
