ArtWalk 2025 Call for Businesses WRMS pleased to announce the return of a program to celebrate arts and promote local businesses – the West Roxbury Main Streets Art Walk -- a multi-day event taking place from May 17- 31, 2025. West Roxbury Main Streets Art Walk is an event that will bring local artwork to the window displays of businesses along Centre Street. Here are some top reasons to consider participating: -Free advertising. Your business will get promoted by WRMS and our event partners as an ArtWalk destination. -Support the arts. Your participation supports the arts community by providing local artists the promotional value of your storefront window’s visibility. -Increase foot traffic. West Roxbury Main Streets Art Walk attendees translate to additional foot traffic and potential new customers/clients for your business. If interested and your business fits the eligible criteria*, please fill out the questions below by April 26, 2025. Following the application deadline, WRMS will begin matching artists with businesses to discuss and determine display setups. *Eligible participating businesses must be in the Main Streets district and have first-floor storefront windows. Artwork must be prominently visible from the sidewalk and securely displayed from the interior of the window(s). Artists and businesses will work together to find the best way to display the artwork. WRMS will assist when necessary. The Art Walk planning team will select up to 5 pieces of art per artist, depending on the number of applications received and number of participating businesses. All types of art submissions are accepted, including pictures, paintings, ceramics, sculptures, and more. The committee will match each artist to a specific participating business located within the Main Streets district. Submitting an application does not guarantee participation in the Art Walk.
