Imagine theres someone you know in their early 40s who has had a difficult journey to get pregnant, they have tried for 7 years and had a successful pregnancy through IVF. They had a healthy pregnancy and followed all medical advice looking after themselves well. Unfortunately for an unknown reason their waters broke early at 22 weeks and their baby was born at 24 weeks. The baby lived for 5 weeks with lots of medical ups and down but sadly passed away. This person is unable to have anymore children. This happened 3 years ago.
