Hi! My name is Viola and I am from Slovakia. I have been studying Finnish language and culture at the Comenius University in Bratislava for four years now. This semester I have been attending a course on the Finnish culture and Finns (Finnish political parties, social state, defence mechanisms, Finnish values etc.). We discuss why many things in Finland work so well. Students were also asked to make a research on a topic that they are interested in. I have decided to find out how Finns behave towards immigrants and how immigrants feel in Finland. I am especially interested to hear about the experiences that immigrants living in Finland have.
