Questionnaire - Legal Issues

Dear colleagues,

We would like to address you as members of the COST Action CA22146: Harnessing the potential of underutilized crops to promote sustainable food production (DIVERSICROP), funded by the European Union.

.

Within our Action, working group (WG2) is collecting information on the management of plant genetic resources (e.g., if national legislation exists, and international conventions are respected). Similarly, we are collecting information on the management of plant GMOs and genome-edited plants (national legislation in relation to Directive 2001/18/EC or alternative outside the EU).

Given the size of our consortium, we expect to complement the knowledge known from media and publications with details from individual countries.

That is why we would like to ask you to provide specific information on legal status of GR, GMO and genome edited plants. Please, would You complete the following questionnaire and send it electronically to zuzana.mullerova@vurv.cz, no later than 15.05.2024[DM1]

We will treat all information in accordance with the GDPR guidelines and the Data Protection Act 2018, which we will send upon request. We will follow GDPR rules for COST Actions, as detailed at https://www.cost.eu/uploads/2021/07/FAQs-GDPR-for-COST-Actions-v2.pdf
