A child aged 7 or 8 was blamed by a male adult they knew for 'causing conflicts between him (the male adult) and his partner at the time'. This child was videotaped while crying and was prevented by the man from leaving the situation. When the child attempted to kick and fight back, they were humiliated. The man then called the child 'pathetic, weak and useless'. Do you think the child was responsible for the situation (e.g. not being able to stop it from happening, not strong enough to fight back)?
