Developmental Underpinnings of Limerence

Dear Participants,

I invite you to participate in my research study exploring Limerence (intense romantic obsession) and its interplay with attachment styles, emotional regulation, and parenting styles in contemporary romantic relationships in India. Your insights will help us better understand the psychological dimensions of romantic experiences and contribute to research on emotional well-being and relationship dynamics.

Objective of the Study:

This study aims to examine how early-life parenting styles and attachment patterns influence emotional regulation and experiences of Limerence in adult romantic relationships. By participating, you will help us gain insights into romantic attachment and obsessive love in the modern Indian context.

Who Can Participate?

✔️Aged between 18–35

✔️Indian resident

✔️Able to understand English moderately

✔️Past or present experience in monogamous romantic relationship/s, or romantic interest (≥1 year).

✔️Intense romantic infatuation towards someone

❌Refrain if: No romantic experience, not raised in India, or severe psychiatric conditions (e.g., schizophrenia, OCD).
