Have you ever considered the use drama activities in your classes to break with the traditional English classroom?

Richards (2006) defines Communicative Language Teaching as a “set of principles about the goals of language teaching, how learners learn a language, the kinds of classroom activities that best facilitate learning, and the roles of teachers and learners in the classroom”. Due to this definition, Developing Drama activities provide plentiful of opportunities to develop the four skills and learn a language?

Nowadays, some European countries apply drama in their educational establishments’ curricula in a way to allow students more communicative opportunities and the ability to talk English with more confidence. Do you think Chile is far for adding this in their educational programs?
