Tea, the second most drunk beverage in the world, is an aromatic drink created through the infusion of the dried leaves of Camellia Sinensis, a species of flowering plants belonging to the family of Theaceae native to East Asia. There are several kinds of tea, from the different treatments that the leaves receive, as well as the different flavors mixed with them (adding vanilla flavors to create vanilla tea, for example.)
The vanilla tea, straight from Mauritius, is an original and exotic product. It contributes to the heritage of this island and offers a unique experience to its consumers. Rich in antioxidants and filled with anti-inflammatory properties, it is also known for its relaxing and de-stressing effects. In addition, it would have virtues to prevent the development of cancer, control the hypertension as well as prevent aging.
Being an artisanal and natural product, this tea therefore delights (in addition to tea lovers in general) health-conscious people who increasingly see tea, thanks to its benefits and its natural appearance, as a healthier alternative to sugary drinks. The idea would therefore be to import some vanilla tea straight from Mauritius in order to commercialise it here, in Switzerland.
