Per un’equità di trattamento tra uomini e donne che vogliono fare impresa
In Italia, solo il 14% dei General Partner nel venture capital è donna. Le startup fondate da donne raccolgono meno del 13% dei capitali.
Ma il problema non riguarda solo le donne: riguarda la qualità del nostro ecosistema, le opportunità perse, il potenziale non espresso.
Women in VC Italy nasce per contribuire a cambiare questa realtà, non con logiche di quota, ma promuovendo merito, equità e accesso.
I nostri impegni
1. Più donne investitrici, più risorse alle loro decisioni
Vogliamo aumentare la presenza femminile tra i decision maker del venture capital e il capitale che possono mobilitare, perché la diversità nei comitati investimento è un vantaggio competitivo, non una bandiera.
2. Più imprenditrici nel tech e nell’innovazione
Promuoviamo un ecosistema in cui le donne siano protagoniste nella creazione e nella guida di startup, con accesso alle stesse opportunità, connessioni e supporti che hanno i colleghi uomini.
3. Più capitali alle startup guidate da donne
L’allocazione dei fondi deve riflettere il valore e il potenziale del team e del progetto, non i bias inconsci. Lavoriamo per un mercato più attento ai numeri e meno prigioniero degli stereotipi.
4. Coinvolgere anche gli uomini per un sistema più giusto
Il cambiamento si fa insieme. Vogliamo che investitori e imprenditori uomini siano alleati attivi in questo percorso verso un venture capital più equo, trasparente e orientato ai risultati.
5. Costruire una comunità solida, aperta e internazionale
Contribuiamo a rafforzare l’ecosistema italiano del VC con apertura internazionale e la costruzione di ponti con partner stranieri, basati sul track record.
Women in VC Italy è il nostro modo per unire le forze, portare luce sul gap di rappresentanza e trasformarlo in opportunità.

Our Commitments
1. More women investors, more capital in their hands
We aim to increase the number of women among venture capital decision-makers and the capital they can allocate — because diversity in investment committees is a competitive advantage, not a token gesture.
2. More women entrepreneurs in tech and innovation
We promote an ecosystem where women lead and build startups with the same access to opportunities, networks, and support as their male peers.
3. More funding for women-led startups
Capital allocation should reflect the value and potential of a team and its project — not unconscious biases. We work to make the market more focused on performance and less constrained by stereotypes.
4. Engaging men to create a fairer system
Change happens together. We want male investors and entrepreneurs to be active allies in building a venture capital industry that is more equitable, transparent, and performance-driven.
5. Help Italy to become a stronger, more open and international VC community
We aim to strengthen the Italian VC ecosystem by fostering openness, global connections, and building bridges with international partners based on track record and mutual growth.
