A young and pregnant woman had a severe bleed at 37 weeks in an otherwise very healthy pregnancy, what do you think she should do as a first course of action ?

She went to the hospital and had a physical examination, the babys movement was tested and they were monitored for 24 hours. The doctors couldn't find any reason for the bleed and said she could go home, which she did, Would you have done the same why? why not?

It turned out that the bleed was a sign that her placenta had ruptured and the baby was at risk. Do you think the mum should feel guilty for not pushing harder for a scan or additional monitoring?
