My name is Ammar Hakim Bin Mohamed Faisal, a final-year student at Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in 3D Animation and Digital Media (Honours). For my Final Year Project, I created a 2D animated short film entitled “The Eternity of Destiny.” This project is a culmination of my academic journey, combining storytelling, animation techniques, and moral themes to deliver meaningful messages to audiences. Through this work, I aim to raise awareness about fear, sacrifice, and acceptance of fate, while also showcasing my technical and creative skills as an animator.
Synopsis
Set in a collapsing world on the brink of destruction, The Eternity of Destiny follows Artemis, a renegade who seeks the Octarine Core, a legendary relic said to grant immense power. Driven by vengeance for his father’s death, Artemis believes the Core is the key to reshaping his destiny. However, standing in his way is Onyx, a mysterious sorcerer sworn to protect the Core and maintain balance. Their fierce battle threatens the stability of the relic, endangering all existence. In a final act of sacrifice, Artemis destroys the Core giving up his own life to ensure its power can never be misused.
The story blends sci-fi action and moral themes, highlighting the importance of accepting fate and the noble act of self-sacrifice for the greater good.
