Internal brainstorming questionnaire aiming to business financial boost by Increase Honeywell occupancy and profitability by means of modifying the current business model.

Aim:

This questionnaire aims to incorporate the opinion of all employees to contribute in stabilizing the business, keeping the turnover running on the long term, increasing the efficiency, filling the gas in the planning.

Note: This is open survey where your valued contribution by means of suggestions, ideas, constructive criticism are appreciated.

Having the fact that there is a high level of trust between Honeywell and the employees, it is decided that this questionnaire takes the  non-anonymous shape in order to gain detailed data related to any idea you supply that holds a business potential, add to that the detailed analysis or follow-up that might take place if needed, also Honeywell wants to understand the specific experiences of individuals or groups.

Tips:

Business Model: A business model describes how a business organization creates, delivers, and captures value, in economic, social, cultural or other contexts. The model describes the specific way in which the business conducts itself, spends, and earns money in a way that generates profit.


Horizontal Expansion: involves acquiring or merging with companies in the same industry and at the same stage of the supply chain, aiming to increase market share and reduce competition.


Vertical Expansion: on the other hand, involves acquiring companies upstream or downstream in the supply chain, such as suppliers or distributors, to gain more control over production and distribution.

To which extent should Honeywell involve itself in a business model modification

Aim of the modification is to remain competitive, drive innovation, and ensure long-term sustainability.

If Honeywell decides to go ahead with business modification, in your opinion, what is the best way to implement these modifications to the current business model?

Horizontal expansion: working together with other Honeywell businesses in the Netherlands (Delft, Apeldoorn, Gouda), and with BENELUX, Germany, west Europe. Searching new businesses implemented by Honeywell worldwide and convey the experience to the Netherlands. Searching businesses implemented by other competitors and deploy the experience by Honeywell. Vertical expansion: Increasing business size with current clients by acquiring more activities related to our systems. Being the system owner gives more confidence with the client and widens the opportunity to create a penetration. Having new clients even at a micro level by giving extra freedom to the FSS to act as a freelancer, make contracts, perform subcontracting activities with the aid of 3rd party companies that supply the man power. Expanding current activities to include field activities, loop test, site inspections, reliability control, TA & engineering consultations. Mix (Horizontal & Vertical): Gaining small process contracts with the existing clients related to the engineering process by: Replacing companies like Fluor, Worley with Honeywell. Replacing site resident activities done by companies like De Jong, KH Engineering with Honeywell. Do (partially) what Equans, Spie, Bam do?
