You are volunteering to take part in a study that researches the origin of phobias youll be required to take part in two surveys one which has already been completed to confirm if you are an elligable candidate and the other which identifies your individual phobia. The reason im doing this is to confirm whether you phobia is through traumatic past experience or if its conditioned through your environment. I will ask questions that enquire whether your parents had this phobia and when you first recall this phobia being present.

 The aim of my study is to observe whether phobias are obtained from classical conditioning or past experiences you will be expected to participate in two surveys one in which you are already completing and the other will ask a series of questions to help guide your phobia this will take around 10 minutes.

DEBRIEF FORM

The aims of the study with the test of phobias by conditioned or from past experiences a measure of the differences and similarities in men and women.

I decided to create an unbiased result and ensure that demand characteristics didn’t affect my results.

Within my study I want to see if conditioning is more common in men or women and if there was a correlation between the genders.
