The aim of this survey is to evaluate the operation of national forest damage monitoring and reporting systems throughout Europe, and the structure and accessibility of the data. This will serve to identify countries with a robust capacity to detect emerging changes in disturbance dynamics and help formulate recommendations on improving forest damage monitoring and data sharing.
