Emotion-based packaging in supermarkets

Hi! I’m doing a small design research project about how we experience grocery shopping. Most supermarkets label products with brand names, logos, and product types. But what if the products were labeled based on how they make you feel, or what they do for your body and mind?

Imagine walking into a store and seeing:

Spinach labeled as “Inner Strength”

Chocolate as “Stress Relief Boost”

Bread as “Power Foundation”

Tea as “Calm in a Cup”

Instead of focusing on the product name or brand, this idea is about connecting to your emotions and how a product makes you feel. I aim to test whether this labeling could influence how people shop and think about their food choices.
