Social anxiety

Dear Sir or Madam, please take a few minutes of your time to complete the following questionnaire.

Secured
1

After being in a social situation do you ever go back over what you said and worry about how you came across?

2

If you do go back over the things you said, how long do you go over it? Do you overthink it, pull yourself apart or think more about the social event itself?

3

If someone made a single comment that you disliked/ disagreed with, would this impact how you thought about them? If so in what way and how much would this change your view of them?

4

If you were in a conversation and someone said something that you disagreed with, would you challenge them or ignore it? What would influence this decision? If you did ignore it, would you later regret not challenging what they said?

5

If you did not challenge someone on saying something that you did not agree with, would you later bring this up and address it with them?

6

If you are talking to someone and they start to gossip about another person (talking about their private life) and it made you feel uncomfortable how would you handle this situation?

7

If you feel that you have overshared during a conversation in a group, how would this make you feel? Would you view it as a bad thing? If you do view it as a bad thing, would it affect future conversations and your behaviour when you are with others?

8

If you have a conversation and you feel that someone has overshared, how would you feel about them? What would be your reaction? (Can you share what you think oversharing in a social setting would be, have you got an example of it?)
