Report Voting Problems Report Form/ Declaration – 2016 General Election

This is a collaborative effort by Watch the Vote USA & Election Justice USA intended to capture complaints from voters regarding their experience in the 2016 elections. We’re collecting these complaints in order to create a body of evidence towards investigating problems in the Primary and General Elections of 2016.

During the primary elections, WTVUSA & EJUSA independently collected complaints/ declarations that voters experienced problems. These problems included:

  • Voter appearing at the precinct (polls) with a sample ballot and not being on the registration roster, despite being registered and active;
  • Voter appearing at the precinct to find they had been changed to “vote by mail” (VBM)
  • In-person voters that were involuntarily switched to VBM never received a VBM ballot;
  • Voter’s party preference was switched to another party;
  • Long-time vote by mail voters not receiving their mail in ballot; and/or
  • Voter’s party affiliation was switched involuntarily.

These registration changes occurred without the voter’s authorization or consent and, for example, in California, problems displaced nearly a million voters into provisional ballot status during the primary election.[1]

Even the Huffington Post (contributor Judy Frankel) documented these problems. [2]

Government agencies have acknowledged that the voter registration data base breaches have been attempted. [3],[4] However, none of these agencies have provided any assurance that these problems have been fixed. Contacting the California Secretary of State (SOS), OVSTA[5] department, they can’t even refer one to another department of the SOS to ensure the VoteCal, (California voter electronic registration system) is secure.

Several declarations revealed a hard to catch problem: A voter’s registration was electronically removed shortly after voting. This would nullify their entire ballot when counted later.many days later, after their vote was possibly nullified, the voter was then added back to the voter registration data base. A possible way to bias an election is by temporarily removing a voter from the electronic data base, while the vote count occurred. With this technique, the voter may never know their ballot was not counted.

For this reason, please check your registration status on-line and document changes:

  • The day before the election
  • The day of the election
  • Every day for 7-14 days after the election.

To check your registration status, please visit http://www.canivote.org before filling out this form.

If you find unauthorized changes to your voter registration status (or party), or experience any other voting problems, please document the evidence via screen shot on your computer or phone. Include any and all evidence such as videos, documents, images, emails, etc., as email attachments addressed to:

ReportVotingProblems@gmail.com

Regardless of the nature of your problems (whether error or otherwise), we will present your evidence and testimony to the courts, legislatures of states, and/or grand juries for investigation. County Grand Jurie(s) in California are already investigating this matter. For this purpose, we need your help by filling out the following form. Even if you didn’t have a problem, there is a “Trust in the system” section you can complete. In addition, please elaborate on any issues in the comments section. The information you provide will be considered for use as evidence and by signature, you agree that WTVUSA & EJUSA may use your information for these purposes.
