If you have hired young people into entry level roles before now, could you help us understand some of the challenges that you may have experienced when they started?

Timekeeping and attendance record was poor
Organisation skills and time / work task management skills were not good enough to be productive
Communication, interpersonal and team-working skills were not strong
They didn't have great levels of self-awareness or an ability to self-manage and learn on the job

If you have hired young people into entry level roles before now and been pleasantly surprised at their skills / capabilities etc, please help us understand what stood out for you and why it was so valuable.

If you had a young person apply for an entry level role and they had on their CV a 6 month 'work-ready internship' that had the skill / experience points below, would you be more likely to offer an interview / consider them for the role?
Yes - I would be more likely to offer an interview / consider them for the role
No - this kind of skill / experience is not of value to my roles
