How to set multilingual form

Create one survey in multiple languages — let AI translate it instantly, edit translations manually and filter results by language version.

With Survio's Multil-anguage feature, you can run a single survey in as many language versions as you need. Whether you're collecting feedback from customers across multiple countries, employees in a multilingual organization, or partners in different regions, you no longer have to duplicate surveys or merge results manually.

This is paid feature, included in PRO Business plan.

Recommendation: Proceed with the translations of the survey, once your survey is fully completed and ready for distribution. Translation shall be the last step, before sharing your survey.

How to create the survey translations

1. Open the survey in survey editor

2. Select the Translation button in design panel

3. In the panel, select the first language you want survey to be translated to

4. The translation menu opens and you can translate the whole survey by selecting Translate (A) or translate one question by one (B)

We highly recommend to translate Survey at once with Translate button. Translating each question individually can results in reaching the translation limit (100 requests per 15 minutes) and can slow down your translations.

Using Translate button counts as 1 request

5. Progress bar shows the translation progress. Once 100%, the survey is fully translated

6. To create another language version, select add language and repeat the process

Once you have the translations done, you can manually rewrite the translation if needed by simply changing the translated test.

Once the % indicator show 100%, the survey is fully translated and ready,

How responders can change the survey language

When respondent opens the survey, Survio automatically pick the language based on the browser settings. Of course, this applies only in case the survey is translated to the respondent browser language settings. In case t he browser language is not in survey translations, main survey language (the one in which you created the survey) is picked.

In case respondent wants to change the language, it is possible with the language menu, located on right down corner.

Analyze results of responses per language version of the Survey

In case your survey includes more than 1 language translation, you can filter our the survey results based on the language version of the survey.

1. Navigate to b

2. Click on Create a Filter and select Language

3. Select the language or languages you can filer results for and create a filter

Now, the results shown are associated to selected language version selected. You can apply the filter with various other types of filters
