How to edit a question

Anytime, you can edit or change any question in your survey.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Please note: We advise against making changes to a survey that has been launched. Surveys that have not yet been launched are completely safe to edit. Making changes to a launched survey can lead to issues such as data corruption and inaccurate analysis, as new responses may no longer align with the original questions.

1. Click on the question you want to edit in the survey builder

2. Edit your question and click on save

3. Your questions has been edited

If you see an alert window once you click on the question you want to edit, it means your survey has already collected answers for a given question. We recommend not to change the questions over the course of collecting the feedback. It may disrupt the data collection and its analysis display format. In case some minor adjustments are needed (e.g. typo), click on continue and edit your question. For example, reordering questions can confuse respondents and disrupt the survey flow, while altering question content can make earlier responses incompatible with later ones, compromising the dataset.

You may also embed a YouTube-video or an image to your question. For more information about this, please check out these articles: Adding a video to your question and Adding an image to your question
