Updated over a week ago

The custom language feature is perfect for those who need to conduct a multilingual survey or present a survey in a language not natively supported by Survio, such as Arabic or Japanese. Survio supports non-Latin scripts, allowing you to add a local touch to your surveys by adapting the language to your dialect or even creating a survey in a constructed language like Esperanto.

How to apply a custom language

1. Select the survey you'd like to customize with your language.

2. Proceed to Survey settings and select Survey language.

3. In case the language of your interest is not in the list, click on Create language.

4. In the Edit menu, you can name your language and manually translate all required text fields.

5. Click on Save and the survey is set in the required language.

Note:

This function serves for translations of “Call to action” or informative / default survey texts. In case you need to translate the whole survey into different languages and enable the option for respondents to select preferable survey language - use a multi language feature
