Question type detail
A single choice question allows respondents to select only one option from a list of predefined answers. It’s ideal for questions where each respondent should pick their main preference or opinion.
Single choice question builder includes an AI assistant, which helps you to phrase questions and answers. Also provides you alternative answer options.
As every question type, it can be set as mandatory or optional to answer.
How to use it
• Write your question clearly (e.g., “How did you hear about us?”).
• Add multiple answer options that cover all possibilities.
• Optionally, include an “Other” option with a text field. (answers available in individual results analytics)
When to use it
• Selecting a favorite feature or product.
• Choosing a job title, location, or department.
• Indicating a satisfaction level using labeled choices.
How to evaluate
Single choice questions are evaluated using frequency and percentage charts that show how many respondents selected each option. You can compare distributions or filter responses by segments (e.g., by country, plan type, or satisfaction level). This type of data is easy to visualize through bar or pie charts, helping you identify the most common choice or trend among respondents.
Each question type has various options of graph interpretation in Survio analytics. Besides summary statistics via graphs, individual responses can be downloaded from the platform for further analysis.
