Question type detail
A multiple choice question allows respondents to select more than one option. It’s perfect for capturing broader opinions, behaviors, or preferences.
Multiple choice question builder includes an AI assistant, which helps you to phrase questions and answers. Also provides you alternative answer options.
As every question type, it can be set as mandatory or optional to answer.
How to use it
• Add several relevant options.
• Define whether respondents can choose any number or limit the number of selections.
• Optionally add an “Other” field for custom input. (answers available in individual results analytics)
When to use it
• “Which of the following tools do you use daily?”
• “What factors influenced your purchase decision?”
• “Which communication channels do you prefer?”
How to evaluate
Multiple choice questions can be analyzed by counting how often each option was selected. Each answer can be represented as a percentage of total respondents. In reports, a bar chart is typically used to show the most popular choices. You can also analyze combinations of answers to understand trends or overlaps.
Each question type has various options of graph interpretation in Survio analytics. Besides summary statistics via graphs, individual responses can be downloaded from the platform for further analysis.
