Question type detail

An image choice question lets respondents select pictures instead of text options. It makes surveys more engaging and helps visualize choices.

As every question type, can be set as mandatory or optional.

How to use it

• Upload clear, relevant images that represent each option.

• Add optional text labels for accessibility.

• Choose between single or multiple selection mode.

When to use it

• Choosing favorite product designs, packaging, or logos.

• Selecting preferred destinations, styles, or food items.

• Collecting visual preferences in creative projects.

How to evaluate

Evaluation of image choice questions is based on how many times each image was selected. Results are shown in the same way as standard single or multiple choice questions — usually in bar or pie charts. You can identify which image option was preferred and compare visual appeal between options.

Each question type has various options of graph interpretation in Survio analytics. Besides summary statistics via graphs, individual responses can be downloaded from the platform for further analysis.
